Objective

On a five-person team I built the Python backend and Electron frontend for an image-to-GIF generator inside an AI calendar product.

Work performed

  1. 2.1Built the backend that switches between image models and renders frames into GIFs.
  2. 2.2Proposed generating at lower fidelity and applying a pixelation filter, which cut cost and gave the output a consistent style.
  3. 2.3Reverse-engineered the pixelit JavaScript library and ported its core algorithm to Python for server-side processing.
